Eye Check Up By Titan Eye Plus

Organised Eye Check Up for students of Gaza High School located in remote area of Haripal block of Hooghly district. This school is adopted school of our NGO i.e. BSED ( Ballygunge Society for Environment and Development).

Eye testing was organised through Titan Eye Plus and conducted by optometrists trained and certified by Sankara Netralaya. Indofil Industries Limited provided financial support in organising this event. Almost 51 child was found having vision problem and recommended for spectacles. Three students diagnosed with serious retinal defect and advised for further treatment. Few parents and teachers also went through same test. We are organising specs for all students as well as treatments for those students advised for further treatment. Though it was a small initiative but smiles of children and their parents made our day full of satisfaction. Children are happy with small support. Enjoyed students standing in a queue for their mid day meal.Poverty is the biggest pain in our society but we together can make big impact for better living.
