Our NGO Ballygunge Society for Environment and Development (I.e.-BSED) celebrates World Environment Day on 17th June, 2018 at their adopted village Purba Gopinathpur of Hooghly district of West Bengal.

Events like Sit n Draw competition, planting and distribution of Saplings, Bratachari etc. went well starting 8.00 am. More than 300+ participants ageing 5 to 18 Years participated in Sit n Draw competition. Major aim was to create more awareness amongst the children for keeping their environment clean and green for a better future. Inspiration and involvement of their mothers in the event made the programme a meaningful one. Though it is a small initiative but smiles of children and their parents made our day full of satisfaction.
